Geoff has been lucky to have been mentored by many talented individuals in the soccer community around Vancouver Island. During this time, he has coached young goalkeepers on the many aspects of the position for Island Keeper Clinic, Victoria Highlanders, and the VIPL Riptide. Having completed his community stream of coaching licenses, he has now began to pursue his BC soccer pro licence. His role with Harbour City FC involves working with young goalkeepers to develop their passion for the game.
Maddy has lived in Nanaimo all her life and is a Harbour City alumni. Having worked her way up through the club since the age of 6 Maddy now plays for Vancouver Island University Womens Team and has competed at provincial and national level on multiple occasions.
Maddy owes her knowledge and passion for soccer to the coaches she has had growing up. She has grown into a skillful player for VIUs team all thanks to the extra development academy sessions she has attended as well as having inspirational coaches that have motivated her over the years.
Now, playing for VIU, Maddy has been awarded the PACWEST Rookie of the Year in her first season and was then top scorer at VIU that led to her being awarded the Golden Boot in her second season. Having spent many hours coaching in community programs such as Just 4 Kicks, Maddy is now looking forward to applying all the information and skills that she has learned over the years to inspire young athletes at HCFC.
